Anybody else ready to rename this season Winter, Part 2? What a strange July we had on the Central Coast. While the rest of the country was sunbathing and sporting shorts and sunglasses, we were wearing wind breakers and jeans! Oh well, at least we know how to have fun anyway! Every night after dinner (you know, once the sun finally comes out), our kids insist on playing soccer in the backyard. This summer, our 6 year old has convinced her 4 year old sister to play full-time goalie, so Dad hasn't won a game in months!
And of course, since Fire Season is officially under way, California Fresh was privileged to feed fire fighters again in July! Once we actually found the basecamp (ever hear of Pozo, CA?), the guys were treated to Ribs, Pork Chops, and Mango Cheesecake for Dinner, and then Steak (Rib-Eye!) and Eggs for Breakfast. And with the hottest and dryest part of the year still looming, our phones are on at all time in case we get another midnight wake-up call!

...we celebrated our 6th Year Anniversary in July, and what a party we had. Our customers were treated to deals all day long, including Free Tri-Tip Sandwiches and Smoothies. We truly believe we have the best customers in the world, and are so grateful for everyone's support over the last 6 years. We can't wait to see what the next few years have in store for us as we franchise throughout California (and beyond???)
...we also reached another Milestone in July - we reached 4,000 Facebook Fans. If you have yet to "like" us on Facebook, hurry! Our site now has features like - Facebook Coupons, an Online Order tool for
pick-up orders, Videos of our Students of the Month, and more! If you
haven't heard, we LOVE Facebook, because it helps us interact with our
customers on a daily basis, so make sure you check us out today. Plus, we are now giving away FREE Birthday smoothies to our Facebook Fans. A little Back to School Humor... Have you ever seen those bumper stickers where parents brag about their child's accomplishments? You know the ones - "My Child is a Star Performer", "My Daughter Is On The Honor Roll"...All parents are proud of overachieving children, and one father was no exception. The bumper sticker on his car read "My Son Made Your License Plate."
